08.08.2011 · Have an 82 175hp v6. Runs and revs fine in neutral but with a load on it won’t do more than 1500 rpm. Tried putting on a spare prop (that I discovered has a slipping hub) and it will rev up fine in gear with that (slipping hub) prop but put on my good prop and once I give it a little throttle to get it up to 1200rpm in gear, anything past that will take me up to 1500 and no further.

When I called Honda for the size of the bolt they could not tell me. After buying a new head and determining it was a 5 mm machine screw needed, the trimmer ran fine. The extra 10 cc over most 25 cc trimmers helps a lot in taller grass. Given Honda’s reputation, it was initially disappointly but having fixed the problems, the trimmer works well.

03.01.2020 · It is factory set at 12,500 rpm though, just before redline! So unless you rev the nuts off the bike it wont come on. You can set it at a desired level according to owner manual. I rarely look at the dash when accelerating and prefer to use engine/exhaust note to let me know when to change gear.

Tried putting on a spare prop (that I discovered has a slipping hub) and it will rev up fine in gear with that (slipping hub) prop but put on my good prop and once I give it a little throttle to get it up to 1200rpm in gear, anything past that will take me up to 1500 and no further.

17.09.2018 · hello, almost every atv, even Honda’s will ” jump ” a tad when put into gear. this is normal. the main thing your shooting for when adjusting the clutch is getting it to move period when adjusting the clutch. as long as your holding the foot shift lever up with your foot after you shift into 1st ?, and the atv does not move while your doing this ?.then you have it adjusted right. the atv

03.01.2020 · It is factory set at 12,500 rpm though, just before redline! So unless you rev the nuts off the bike it wont come on. You can set it at a desired level according to owner manual. I rarely look at the dash when accelerating and prefer to use engine/exhaust note to let me know when to change gear.
