This can be done without turning the two dials to “1”, so that’s not it. Just what is the special function?

HI ther i just purchased a MSD 6A, i got it for a really good deal, i know it does not have the rev limiter, but is it worth getting the 6AL? Also do I need a blaster coil for this setup? 04/07/2011 · my MSD box is a new style part # 6425. There is only one rev limiter built in, so the 2 step is optional when ordering it. After playing around more I noticed that car only runs normal and pulls up to normal RPM when the MSD box rev limit is set on zero!!!

I ran this MSD until last week. It works fine. Because of the sketchy rev limiter situation, I wouldn’t put this on a high dollar engine that likes to rev. But I think it would be fine on a street engine. I believe the rev limiter works, but you would have to find that chart online again and set the ohm’s reading of the volume pot to your needs.
